Maria grew up in Finland, where attitudes towards nudity are very different from those in the U.S, because of the sauna culture. After graduating from university (Master of Science), she married an American man, got American friends, and therefore got to know the American culture some more.
She started writing the www.007b.com website some time after the birth of her first child, as a breastfeeding mother, but having a totally different viewpoint to the American obsession with breasts because of her upbringing.
Currently Maria is a work-at-home mom, and again nursing a baby (her third one).
